Vegan baked portobello fries

I am a huge mushroom fan and I am always in serach of new recipes trying to use them in different ways! So a few days ago I made these fantastic vegan portabello fries and they were a huge hit. My sweet nephew, Konstantinos, was thrilled when he tried them and he said that they tasted like meat. They are perfectly paired with a soy yogurt dip (with garlic and mint). They can also be an ingredient of a green salad. Try them and I am sure you will love them as much as we did!

Ingredients:
5 portobello mushrooms
80 gr. bread crumbs
4 Tbsp vegan grated cheese
150 gr. mustard
3 Tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
oregano

Instructions:

In a bowl combine mustard with olive oil. In another bowl combine bread crumbs with vegan cheese, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat every mushroom slice with mustard and then with the bread crumb mixture. Lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 200C until golden brown and crispy. They are tastier when hot. Serve with dip of choice. Enjoy!!
