Vegan apple tarte tatin

Apple tarte tatin is a very popular autumn and winter dessert! But I decided to veganize it! I used apple sauce and it turned out delicious! The more I make desserts without animal products the more I fall in love with veganism!

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
1 Tbsp baking powder
3/4 cup applesauce
1+1 Tbsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp vegan butter
3/4 cup +1/2 cup sugar
3 apples (2 sliced, 1 diced)
1/4 cup walnuts and raisins (optional)

Instructions:

Melt in a tart pan (24cm) butter, sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon in the oven. Lay the apple slices over the melted mixture. In a bowl combine 3/4 cup sugar, 1Tbsp cinnamon and applesauce. Add vanilla powder, flour and baking powder stirring softly with a rubber spatula. Fold in the diced apple, raisins and walnuts. Pour dough over the apples and bake in preheated oven at 140 Cº for about 45 minutes. Let cool and then turn the tart upside down on a platter. Enjoy!
