Good morning, dear friends! Today we are making a popular sauce in its veganized version! Tartar sauce, according to wilkipedia, is a mayonnaise based sauce typically of a rough consistency. It is often used as a condiment with seafood dishes. Capers, lemon juice and dill are some of its typical ingredients. I used my plant pased mayonnaise that I posted some time ago. It turned out mouthwatering. We used it as a salad dressing and as a sauce for a pasta dish that I will present to you next week.

a batch of our vegan mayonnaise
2 Tbsp capers, rinsed
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp fennel
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Just put all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until you get a smooth cream. Use it as a sauce or dressing. Keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
