After the holiday season we all need to detox. I guess all of us have overeaten. Festive tables, dinners with so many scrumptious dishes are temptations that only a saint could resist. My overeating during holiday season has always to do with sweet stuff! You see I have a sweet tooth…So today let’s detox with this yummy green salad with walnuts that has a strong blood orange scent due to this amazing Ariston olive oil.

1/2 cucumber, diced
1/4 fennel bulb, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 celery, finely chopped
2 Tbsp walnuts
1 Tbsp sesame seeds & 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
50 gr. reggato, diced
zest of 1/2 orange
salt & pepper
2 Tbsp infused olive oil blood orange
1 Tbsp mustard
In a bowl place all veggies. Sprinkle with orange zest, seeds, add cheese and walnuts. Combine olive oil with mustard, salt and pepper. Pour dressing over the veggies and stir until well coated. Transfer in a platter and serve. Enjoy!
