Good morning, dear friends! A few days ago my sweet neighbour, Peny, gave me a bag full of grapes. We ate most of it but there was some left and I had to find out what to do with it.. So I came up with the idea of making a chutney! I had never tried it before! All I knew is that it is made with fruit, veggies, herbs , vinegar and sugar. So I totally improvised and I made this chutney which turned out great! So yummy that you can it as it is with a spoon! Peny said that is pairs well with lentil soup!

Ingredients (yields 2 small jars):
1,5 kg grapes
3 (180 gr.) green peppers
2 (250 gr.) onions
3 garlic cloves
100 gr. brown sugar
240 ml vinegar
3 Tbsp olive oil
10 thyme twigs
5 bay leaves
salt and pepper

Put veggies ina blender and pulse them. Wash grapes and place them along with the ground veggies in a pot. Cook over medium heat for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until caramelized and shrunk. In the end pour olive oil and stir. Store in sterilized jars. Keep in the fridge. Enjoy!
