Happy December, dear friends! I am officially 9 months pregnant and I must admit that I am a bit anxious/ impatient! My life has become difficult due to the extra weight I am carrying, I have terrible backaches and practically can’t move! I am also worried about when the baby will decide to come out. Will I be at home, what will I be doing etc Anyway, let’s move on to the recipe! As I have told you in previous posts, I have been eating lots of legumes during my pregnancy. This dish was one of my favourite! Chickpeas with pearl onions, scented with rosemary, orange juice and mustard. What a heavenly combination! You should try it!

Ρεβυθάδα με πορτοκάλι

Ingredients (serves 2):
250 gr. chickpeas, soaked overnight and rinsed
20 pearl onions, peeled
5 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp mustard
5 rosemary twigs
1 tsp garlic puree (optional)
juice of 2 oranges
salt and pepper

Instructions:
In a pot put chickpeas, pour water enough to cover them and allow to cook. After 30 minutes add the rest of the ingredients except for the oil and let cook until soft. When ready, pour olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
